Demonstrating new machinery technologies to growers

Currently there is a lot of new technology as well as new machinery options available to growers or becoming available which has been designed to increase productivity and profitability on farm. Many of these new technologies are released without growers having any hands-on experience with how they work or understanding how they can add value to their farming systems. Determining how to both use and adopt new technology, to be able to improve farming systems, is a real challenge and a knowledge gap in this area was identified.

Outcome:

By June 2026, WA growers will have been exposed to new machinery technology and have an improved understanding of the fit of this technology in their farming business
