The Western Australian No Tillage Farming Association (WANTFA) is a state-wide grower group, founded in 1992 with the aim of promoting the use and adoption of conservation agriculture, especially no tillage techniques to prevent the impact of wind and water erosion in broadacre farming systems. We are a fully incorporated, not for profit, association that is governed by a Board and employ professional staff.
THE WANTFA BOARD
The WANTFA board is made up of a mix of growers, researchers and industry who provide strategic direction to the Executive Director and ensure good governance. They seek to ensure that the Association and its’ staff are meeting pre-defined goals and objectives rather than providing a large amount of operational input. The Board are passionate about conservation farming and the sustainability of the broadacre system. Those interested in joining the board must share the same passion and can do so by making direct contact with either the existing Board members or the Executive Director.
The group currently employs the following staff.
