- GM canola has been released here in WA. Get to a training day and get updated on the GM system. Look at your farm and see if this technology fits.
- We don’t have too long to go before seeding. Have all seeding machinery, seed and fertiliser ready to sow by April 1st so you can start on the first opportunity, especially for canola and lupins.
- How did your stubble fair over the summer, start thinking about stubble management now long before seeding
- There are many new exiting wheat varieties coming out now. There should be some to match your seasonal requirements.
- Start thinking about your integrated weed management strategy now. Remember to keep monitoring and adjust your management to what you see.
