The Grower Group Alliance is a non-profit organisation with a vision to enhance the value of agricultural research, development and extension through the alliance of grower groups, researchers and the grains industry in a network across Western Australia. The GGA is made possible through funding support by the Grains Research and Development Corporation and is currently comprised of six grower groups and five agricultural research institutions.
The GGA offers many benefits for both growers and researchers. For growers it provides the opportunity for smaller groups to share information and work together to progress their ideas and take action on a range of issues, which they would not have been able to do individually. For researchers it provides greater access to growers for input on research ideas and field-testing of new technology.
